The link between emotional distress and health disorder
In essence, each organ in the body has a function and is connected to a specific group of neurons in the brain that monitor the cells within that organ. A traumatic experience can engage three levels simultaneously: the psyche, the brain, and the organ. The stress is alleviated as soon as modification starts in the "target organ", which metaphorically permits the expression of the conflict.
High blood pressure
It’s normal to have blood pressure variations throughout the day or in response to momentary stress. However, when this condition becomes chronic, the underlying cause can be directly connected to unresolved emotional issues. Our emotional struggles translate into our biology and tell a story about unresolved stresses, whether acute or chronic. And whether our conflicts are real, imaginary, or virtual, they will be transcribed by our subconscious into our biology as if they were real.
Headaches and migraines
Each organ (including the brain) can manifest an imbalance from emotional struggles when the psyche can't find a satisfying solution to a problem, which can lead to unmanageable stress. Resolving any type of conflict can cause momentary brain edema that triggers the pain associated with a headache or migraine.
